Software ToolsFollow these links to files and documentation on a variety of software tools that I've found useful in my work. AMPLSupport for using AMPL (A Mathematical Programming Language) at ERG, including slides and examples from a section I taught in Alex Farrell's modeling class (ER 220). GREETThe Greenhouse Gases, Regulated Emissions, and Energy Use in Transportation (GREET) Model can be downloaded for free from Argonne National Lab. Note that the installer and graphical interface run only on Windows. Mac users must install the package on Windows, unhide the Excel spreadsheet and copy it back to a Mac. Or you can download the copy I've already liberated. LaTeXSupport for using LaTeX, especially on OS X. Some of the resources here, such as my EndNote-to-Bibtex script, are applicable to other platforms. |
